Missed the 1st quarter and start of the 2nd. How was Porter?

He has looked good since I tuned in.

Very good again, a couple of heady saves.

Baretto is cheating high gotta start going high to low, a bounce shot or two would be ideal as well

Good call on the bounce shot. There was one in the final minutes of the half that he didn’t read but it skipped off target.

Army D making SU O look somewhat sloppy. The Orange is moving off the ball, but Army is playing tight and makes us look sloppy. Need better shot selection, as noted above, too many High to High, easy stops for Army. Army appears to be winning the GBs, we need to step up. We are dominating the X. Orange D is playing very good and Porter is rock solid in goal.

Overall, a good half. Army cannot be taken lightly by anyone, they have earned their ranking, win or lose. Enjoying the physical play by both teams. Amazing clean, but very physical, no one goes home without bruises today. Shows great discipline by both teams that the game is clean.

He and Rehfuss both missed pt blank shots. Gotta have those in this type of game.

Agree, Army does not have elite speed for teh transition game, though they will make a D work for it. IF we can get a 3-5 goal lead, we will force Army out of the deliberate, set offense.
