After reading your piece, I really hope Neal cracks on this visit and commits. He's bringing his new girl home to meet the family (or in this case, taking his family to meet her). So hopefully the presence of family members (and the RW connection) will bear fruit. I think you're absolutely right that the combination of the two of these guys in the backfield could drive defenses nuts with their speed and playmaking abilities.

Trindon Holliday. I think he's only 5'5", but he's still bouncing around the NFL as a return specialist, and seems to take one to the house every season.

I feel like height matters a lot more in the NFL then it does in college. There has been a lot of very successful short college players, there just hasn't been a lot of successful short NFL players. We just need as many playmakers as we can get our hands on, height shouldn't be a real detriment to that.

Hi guys I have heard that we never really went after Colon. He is rated higher on other boards than our coaches had him rated. Nice size but not the explosion off ball we like. Multiple coaches thought same thing. He wanted to come here or at least get recruited. Was told he is a great kid.

Interesting--but given our depth needs at DT, I wonder who the staff has rated higher. Right now, there isn't much information floating out there about DT prospects we're involved with [not that this means we aren't involved with anybody, just that who the staff is recruiting on the inside isn't well known].
