If we end up landing Ish and Adly does this end up being the best single group of any position that we have recruited in the last 10 years. Custis, KJ, Cooper, Ish, Adly. Star rankings whatever i dont think we have ever recruited 5 guys at a single position that has looked this good on paper.

i don't know if we happen to get Watson or Thomas I think this year's LBer class can give them a run for the money. I think Moskal and Franklin are going to be absolute studs. Moskal has one hell of a highlight film, and Franklin is right there with them. Bennett is no slouch either. Adding someone like Watson would be absolutely ridiculous.

Plus Adly would be a TE.

Do you like our odds for either

hard to tell. IF Watson makes the trip this weekend I really like our chances. As for Thomas we only get him if OU doesn't offer before NSD...i kind of have a feeling they don't though so we may luck out

The Oklahoma site put up two articles about recruiting this weekend. Without giving too much away it sounds like they might be waiting on someone who won't decide until signing day and Thomas' academics might have pushed them away. Will be interesting to see if his Okla visit is still on.

Watson's also tripping to Illinois after the SU visit. Prater commuting here could be the difference maker in nailing Watson. If OU doesn't confirm offer on OV, then we have a good chance getting Thomas.

Wow, doesn't sound good. Kid sounds down. Hope SU stays with him on the offer, even if prep is in line.

if you go by paper, I think the2007 lb. class where we had 4 guys coming in ranging from 13-61 rankings or the Q.B'S who were rated 25 AND 40.

As of now he might not be making that OU visit.

anomander, any other potentials you like? Brosnan, Wilbon? Secret guys? Wrong thread for this I know!

Thats good news any idea why not?

From what I understand he wants an offer before he heads out there ... doesn't have one and isn't feeling like he will get one but that is what I heard third hand.

Per Roberts sounds like Wilbon is coming with him the 31st. He has a long standing relationship with DeAndre Smith, and obviously Roberts. If we can sell him on the depth chart i'd give us a decent shot. Brosnan is visiting Vanderbilt 1.24, I would assume we would have him come the 31st with all the other Illinois kids. He visited a bunch of schools in the Spring, but had us up at the top just behind Vandy. if he goes anywhere else imo it will be Cuse. Depends who Vandy hires, but if he makes the visit I like our chances.

Plus i'm sure there will be some secret guys. Both sides keep it pretty close to the vest with potential flip candidates.

Either way this is shaping to be an exciting closing to the class of 2014

That sounds right, he was tweeting how NSD is coming up and he doesn't know where he is going. That gave me the impression that OU is flaking on him(again). If they gave him a solid offer, he would commit 5 minutes after landing in Norman and would be likely be talking a lot more about the visit beforehand. We may just luck out.

Committing to OU isn't as done a deal as everyone thinks however he is really big on OU ... he is sincerely giving Cuse consideration and yes he is getting very frustrated ... as I said earlier the longer this goes the better it is for us.
