Broncos and Fox part ways

You brought up cap space, and further more the Broncos are in good shape cap wise and that's with Manning returning. Without, that's 16.5 mil back to Broncos. I don't care about losing Julius, he's soft and vanishes, and I'm not talking about just this season. And of course cap space isn't end all be all, that's why I specifically included front office. Don't under estimate Elway and who he'll get to come here over another place, has proven that already..
Von Miller, Terrance Knighton, Demarius Thomas all will need to get paid. The Miller 5th yr option isn't counting against the cap yet.

I don't see the Broncos as a better job than the 49ers. Denver's QB situation is a huge question mark. Manning has no future and their backup isn't anything more than a gamble whom if he was any good would have to be paid as his rookie deal will expire after next year.

Von's good til next year. Welker=gone=7.6 mil against the cap saved. We're great as far as the cap goes compared to the niners. DT and Knighton will get paid, you do have to pay someone. AFC West vs NFC West for a coaching staff? And Elway proving he'll do whatever it takes...Denver's the better job. Has 0 to do with homerism..

I can see Fox ending up in Chicago.

Interestingly enough, that was the last hope for Marrone this year as HC, as he has relationship with the Bears' new GM from their days in New Orleans.

Regarding the Niners, they blew the bank on Colin K. I am not sure if he is worth all that against the cap.

You have heard of a thing called the Rooney Rule. If Denver wants Gase they have to do their due diligence before they could hire Gase.
Isn't there an exception if they promote from within their existing staff?

Probably a moot point here since Elway has declared the position is open by giving the assistants permission to look around.

Nope ALL coaching hires have to follow the Rooney Rule. Denver will interview atleast 1 minority for the HC before they can offer the job to any coach.
