Watched a few games of his and did a long write up last January. It was obvious what kind of player he could be. I remember my only concern with him was the big step up in competition.

Yeah, the hands and I'd add the subtle movement without the ball. Gets himself to good spots for boards and easy buckets by navigating the paint really efficiently. He's a nice player.

I've been suggesting since the beginning of the year that Brown belongs in the starting lineup.

Looks like that transition has finally occurred.

He and Jesse were a handful last night -- he plays "bigger" than Benny.

I really hope you're right that the transition has occurred and JB doesn't fall back into old habits.

He’s got such great feel, especially as a freshman. The ball just seems to find him and he’s almost always in the right spot. Him and Jesse have great chemistry.

Brown kind of reminds me of CJ Fair’s freshman year. Not necessarily in playing style, but just in their overall game and performance.

Brown, like Fair, always seemed to make the right play and be in the right position. They both play smarter than your average freshman. And they both provided stronger contributions as freshman than probably most people (certainly me) expected.

If Brown turns out to be anywhere near the player Fair was it will be enjoyable to watch the next couple of years.

Brown is the ultimate technician. He has no ego concern's, he only focuses his mind on what he can control, especially in game, no wasted effort on emotion or worrying about his role. He can provide great leadership for this team.
