This is the most worrisome thing of the entire preseason.

The fans know he's awful and he continues to get blown up on the field. Meanwhile Miller is solid at RG and Groy is a very good interior lineman who apparently can't start because we need him to be a Swiss Army knife on the bench.

We have two guys better than this joker yet Vlad is out there with Mills putting our QBs life in danger.

I agree with it being the most worrisome development of the preseason. The guy shouldn't even make the roster let alone be rotating in with the ones. He regularly gets pushed back -- run play, pass play. I'm HOPING this is just a preseason experiment just to be sure about him but he needs to be cut because he flat out sucks.

Agreed - I heard Ducasse played into the 4th which gives me hope that they know Miller/Groy start and are giving players on the cut line chances to change their mind.

I won't worry about the offense until we see them in the regular season. No Matthews or Glenn and they haven't gameplanned anything, even in Game 3. Clearly using preseason to work on stuff so we'll see how that approach works.

The defense though... We know our defensive line is going to be legit but the Linebackers and Secondary look lights out. This defense should keep us in a lot of games provided the offense is capable of doing anything.

I haven't been able to watch any of the preseason games but the playing time for Vlad is my #1 question also. Miller had a solid year last year. I really hope Cordy Glenn can get healthy enough to get through the season or that could get ugly too. Doesn't sound like Dawkins or Mills have been wowing anyone, although I still have high hopes for Dawkins for the future.

I still want to start the season with Taylor but if things start going downhill after several games and the season is lost, I wouldn't hesitate to get Peterman some time.

There's no way they bring in Kaep after Shady's comments and McDermotts attitude. Plus Taylor might be back by Game 1 and Peterman has played well enough to be #2.

Bills trade Ragland to the Chiefs for a 4th rounder in 2019. Nothing against the trade but I would have preferred the pick be for 2018 but I will take it.

Me to, need to stick with a 4-3 moving forward because we can't go through another transition like this. Seemed like Ragland was in possible danger of being cut so getting a 4th is pretty good and as you noted he seemed like a terrible scheme fit. Still hoping Buffalo looks to bring in a WR and or RB before the season starts. We desperately need someone who can stretch the field and a RB who can back up Shady/Williams.

I was really excited when we drafted Ragland so feel the same as you about the non-stop scheme changes.

So if I'm doing the math correctly:

1. Bills trade 2nd round pick and 2 4th round picks for a 2nd round pick.
2. Bills select Ragland with that 2nd round pick.
3. Bills trade Ragland (essentially the 2nd round pick) for a 4th round pick

So all together, the Bills traded a 2nd round pick and a 4th round pick for nothing.
