Buffalo Bills 2021 Thread

You all know there's a place to discuss this shlt, right?

You also all know, if you read the Yankees thread, I'm not in the best mood to start with today.

Knock it off.

If it's SO important to you to piss back and forth at each other about Cole FIN Beasley, do it on the OT Forum.

Any more and thread bans begin.

Rookies report today.
Who do you got as the most impactful rookie this year?

The great thing is - none of them are really being heavily relied upon.

What a change in operations for this club!

If I had to pick I’d go with Boogie but I honestly don’t know!

I agree re: Boogie, for a sleeper I could see Stevenson making an impact especially on Special Teams.

If Stevenson makes the team (Not an IR designation or some such thing)….. I think that will be a really good indication of his potential.

This is going to be a TOUGH wr room to make it into.

You'll notice this thread is noticeably shorter. If what happens yesterday happens again (especially after the warning I gave), there will also be noticeably fewer posters here.

Fair warning, final warning.

Watching Cole Beasley’s media availability right now and I didn’t realize how much I miss Buffalo Bills Football.

No thank you. Don't think I'd be happy giving him 4 year top of the market deal if he was a FA, let alone attach a big asset to it. We're heading for a miserable cap situation once JA and Edmunds deals are completed and paying $18m or whatever it would take for a pass rusher that is going to be on the decline is exactly the opposite of what should be done. The opposite being what we did do by taking a bunch of swings at young edge guys and hoping that at least 1 of them becomes a star and the other 2 are solid.

I'm not sure they're planning to extend Edmunds unless he has an All-Pro type of season. But I agree I prolly would pass on trading for Chandler.

I'm nearly certain he'll be getting an extension. He just turned 23 and feel like McBeane believe he's their flagship dude on defense.

Everyone outside of Buffalo Bills fans, think Edmunds is a monster.

Opposing fans. Opposing coaches. League analysts. Our coaches.

I’m not exactly sure what they see that I don’t… he’s still just a solid linebacker with insane potential to me.

3 years ago I absolutely would be for pulling the trigger on a deal like that. I’d still be willing to trade for him, but not at that high of a price. I don’t think anyone would trade a first for him.

Yep. If he's 27 or 28 sure. Can't be giving huge guaranteed money to edge guys in their 30s. Almost no chance at all of a good return on investment.
