With a roster like they have opportunity to work the cap, get back assets, and not just cut guys. You could see the same move with a guy like crowder, they have multiple candidates for his slot at much lower number.

Same here. Doubt this is the last move by Beane, the bottom of the roster is too stacked to not move a few expendable pieces for draft capital.

Having say a couple of extra 5th round picks could really move the Bills up from having the last pick in the 1st round.

Guard has been really the only spot Beane/McD can't nail down. I do like Bates though, hopefully he continues to play well

I don’t see this as being significantly better than Orchard Park. Just seems that you’re moving traffic issues to the Northtowns.

I think there is definitely better road infrastructure to get there. Not to mention the fact that you are closer to population centers that may be able to keep more traffic off of the highway. Also, there has been talk of expanding the Metro rail line out to the UB North campus, which I assume would happen if the stadium were to be built on this site. That could be a game changer (assuming it's done correctly). Finally, I could literally walk/ride my bike from my house to there, so that would be the most important upgrade.

I will say though that I have gone to a basketball game and a show at UB before and leaving both times was a total nightmare. Probably says more about their terrible parking lot setup and event management than anything else, though.

Anyone else flying out for the game next week? Staying with our old friends in SD and then driving up Thurs afternoon. SD Bills Backers have a bus going up as well so going to tailgate with them in the Pink Lot.

it'd be interesting, but I just don't see it happening. Large-scale projects in Amherst take years (think the UBMD project near the Audubon Golf Course & Westwood CC) to obtain Town Board Approval, and I think causing massive disruption to the area's largest employer (SUNY) would be a massive ding against this stadium site proposal.

Also, the reason that the Metro Rail was not initially expanded to UB North was because Town of Amherst residents opposed it. JMO, but it would be foolish to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to extend the line to Amherst now, to cater to a facility that's maybe used 12-15 times a year (including concerts).

That said, I too would be able to ride my bike from my house to this site, so that's a plus in my book.

Well according to the Bills statement they were made aware of the allegations previous to the suit and investigated. I would assume they feel the allegations are false if hes still here.

Yeah, at best he's a real piece of garbage. At worst he should probably get taken off the earth by the girl's dad. Either way I don't expect him to be a Bill by the end of the day.
