I know that happens a lot on the football side where kids visit, but they aren’t a take. I guess I would have thought if GMac invites a kid to visit, the likelihood he is a take is much higher. I feel like a read more about Zoom calls on the basketball side. Smaller budget than football so I figured that’s probably why in addition it’s still a way to get to know a kid without the expenses of a visit.
We need midrange a ton. I want a guy who can hit 10’ with ease. Opens up downlow and outside. We don’t need to be a three chucking machine like last year. Yeah, I doubt GMac would do that. He had a front row seat to some blunders when Boeheim did this. Remember Quade Green? Gerry was intimately involved in that one and I'm sure learned never to be in that position again.

I hope so. Have not heard from the board about any other visits regarding bigs. Certainly GMac went silent mode for the international adds which makes a ton of sense. Maybe there is another but again the clock is ticking and everyone is pursuing bigs.
Thats an interesting perspective. I found Syracuse to be its own little world, removed from a city. I hardly ever left the confines of the campus and Marshall Street. Thats why I loved my time at SU.

They want an Onuaku type of mold in a center. Hold their own defensively atleast, but can beat you one on one down low offensively.

Within America, yes. There really isn’t a lot of supply in the first place for that kind of center to begin with that is somewhat along in their development. Especially now in the modern day basketball era. Maybe there is someone else internationally that fits this mold or they’ll have to adjust their strategy on how they want to play a bit.
