Class of 2023 C Owen Freeman (IL) Portal from Creighton

You aren't winning many games with him as the starting pg. He's a really nice piece off the bench.
Would you have said the same thing about Laz Sims back in '96. Same sort of player. What is the most important thinga pt guard does? I think it is being able to guard the other teams pt guard. And this kid does it in spades. If he shot 36% from 3, everyone would be thrilled factoring in all, of the other things the kid does well. Instead, we need another guy because it's 31%. We can win with Duel. We need a 5.

All will I will say with center is we forgot we had some of our best teams with centers who were not great on offense. I guess we forget that
So the two centers we currently have. Are they good enough to win us games?

Remember when we were told how good Carlos was? Another Ennis lol.

Skepticism is fair - you are batshit panic mode right now. We have money so let’s see who we get and not obsess about who we haven’t gotten yet or didn’t get. When the roster is set if we haven’t landed well then we can certainly get back into this but right now it’s just way over the top.

I'll tell ya, some in this thread are really getting worked up. It's a Saturday. Get yourself a beverage of your choice, watch some nba or something and get away from this for a while (just a suggestion).

I would be stunned if Dual is not the starting point guard next season. Like they would have to absolutely hit it out of the ball park, like a Silas Demary to magically hit the portal and come to Syracuse to change how stunned I would be if Dual isn’t the starter.

Let’s just agree to disagree. We clearly don’t see eye to eye. Have a good one. I hope we are here in 6 months and you’re eating crow because that means we are good.
Fair, I will just say this i would have love to have eaten some crow the past 5 years. It hasn't happened yet

At this point, I could care less if we get Freeman. Whatever happens, happens.

I will be upset if we lose Folefac. I have seen this kid play quite a bit, he is only a freshman and could provide solid minutes at the 4 and 5.

In Colorado, the sun came out after a snow that was much needed.

Bought a record, the brewery is playing it, and I am vibing to GMac doing more with less.

IMO, this team has upgraded at PG, SG, SF. I am buying to big jumps from Kiyan and Sadiq. Everyone saying they dont, well, forget all you love about college basketball and development. Guess it will always be about talent recruitment. That, of which, both Kiyan and Sadiq ooze in different ways.

Allow yourselves to be a bit sold on what we have. It's seriously okay.

(I also get the hysteria, I honestly do. I won't play fully dumb here. I want elite dudes from P4.)
I'm fine with your view, it's all good. I'm just not feeling the same so far. I'd love to feel better about our additions but I don't know, they just don't away. Hopefully we can still get a difference maker at Center.

I would like both, but with all due respect, this is the ACC. We need a center of Freeman’s caliber if we want a ceiling of finishing in the top half or better in the ACC and the potential to make a run in the NCAAT. This is probably the hold up on what I think will be 2 other impact players they add, role PG and role Forward.

Who is our John Wallace?

Well appears Owen is in Vegas at smackdown tonight vs hanging around to commit to Auburn at least for the time being
I was thinking earlier today how much of an advantage the players who stay at their current schools have. They can just work on their game (and school) instead of looking for the next great thing.
