Cam Ward

ESPN had a promo leading into the Halftime Report of the Army/LaTech game. It said "Cam Ward goes out in style". lol they're clueless.

Selfish and self-centered is the style of the moment.
It is sooo 2024.

He got his record, then bailed on his teammates,
who went on to lose in gloriously agonizing fashion.

I don't believe that. It's something that NFL teams will question him about, but they won't just cross him off if they believe he is the best fit for their team. That is all it comes down to.

Most teams yes. But the Giants have always been different and find reasons to not draft players.

I’m starting to really hate ESPN. They’ve become the new, news stations. Peddling their narrative. Not that they never did before but it seems even more obvious lately.

ESPN completely changed when bought by Disney. Who even bothers to watch Sports Center anymore. Got rid of all the entertaining broadcasts over the years which made it worth watching.

Haha Shadeur took his team out of field goal range taking a 20 yard sack after Hunter set him up 1st and 5 at the 10. Him and Ward will both stink in the NFL.
Coach Prime coming up small when it matters most, again. His record is awful in competitive games that mean the most, like his final bowl game at Jackson State. Deion needs a huge talent gap in his favor or an average coach will out scheme him. And Jr imitating his dad after an Int, down 17 in the 2nd quarter. Just tone deaf and selfish, while Army with 11 as 1 sets the standard all year. I'm questioning if Prime ever has another winning record in CO with Shadeur moving on

I thought Ward might re-enter the game when he appeared to be warming-up after the Canes took possession with 0:56 and 1 TO left, down 42-41, needing only a FG to win. He had an opportunity to lead his team to the bowl win, be featured on the ESPN highlights, and increase his standing with his teammates, Miami fans, and possibly NFL scouts. Maybe it was Cristobal's decision (doubt it), but I lost any shred of respect I might have had for Ward.

BTW, I looked up his stats, and this season Miami FG kicker Borregales was 5-6 on kicks of 40-49 yds., and 2-2 on kicks of >50 yds., so getting his team in FG range with the time remaining would not have been that difficult for Ward.

I think Miami also moved piecse around in the oline. when the new kid came in, they went to power run up until they brain farted and tried to throw which let ISU back in the game.

But the pass blocking got much worse when the new QB came in as well.

A Big12 team won the SEC regular season in their first year as well. Plus Navy & Army both won 10 games for the first time in history that they’ve done that in the same season.
And a B1G team won the conference in their first season as well.

Cristobal and brain farting are synonymous.

Don't think I've had a Pop-Tart in something like 30 years.

But they damn sure looked good today.

Best bowl-tie-in ever?
I love Pop Tarts! Worst food in the word for you. But man I love them. But I’ve only had a dozen or so in the last few years.
