Of course, these guys can coach man. They have been immersed in basketball nearly their entire lives. They have coached and scouted against some of the very best man defenses and coaching in the country throughout their careers.
Can they do it well enough is a different debate. I'm not sure how you know they can't. It's fair to wonder if they can. But, to be crystal clear, I am 100% on board with bringing in someone who has already proven that they can be successful.

That's my question, as well. We can/should all recognize that even the best, established head coaches at the college and pro levels play man at different levels of proficiency.
