Syracuse has offered RB Charles Davis Milford Academy.

He's pretty quick/fast. Grade issues coming out of his Sr year.

Indiana, Kansas St, Memphis, Ole Miss, South Florida, Temple, Wash St. interest: ESPN HS Profile
His heart was in Indiana: ESPN
Looks like 1 site lists his nickname as Charles "Fast" Davis. They have a diary, too: Finest Preps

I hope this reach is not out of panic but it seems the more time elapses the less grasp we have on either AEdwards and LSmith. Not to include Ebeneezer.

I'm going think optimistically that we need as much speed as possible. Bring it in any way you can find it and in spades if possible!

Could be a guy in the Ant Bailey mold when DC3 was here. 3rd down back that can make guys miss and do damage on screen passes or line up in the slot.

Edwards and Smith appear to be every down back size. Davis may be a player to compliment guys like that vs compete head to head with them for PT.

It's June 5th dude, when did we land George Morris, or AMoore or Gulley? you can't put all your eggs in one basket right? you have to recruit other kids.

Quick and fast, and catches the ball out of the backfield. Runs north/south.

Could scare the bleep out of our opponents as a KR. That's worth a scholy to me.

this kid looks really solid to me - especially after a year of prep - nothing wrong with offering this guy

Also, looking through Milford players it appears Montrell Dobbs is ending up as a partial qualifier at Temple after not making UConn's requirements.

Saw this on the JrCashCommittie page, too.

This jumped out at me, too. KR for sure. Fast acceleration and commits and is gone. Looks like he was running behind a solid line in high school.

Inpressed with his grammar ... is that aloud?

I think he is trying to express that he doesn't want to sound to loud or noisy about the official offer that is coming. :)

you can never have too much speed and the types of moves he shows.
His ability to make catches out of the backfield looks outstanding as well.

Guy looks like a homerun threat everytime he touches the ball. I love the fact that he was offered by southern schools. He would be a great get

Not to change the subject, but I didnt want to start a new thread. Anyone know what the story is with Cappe, out of watertown? Played a little last season for Milford, but isnt on the '11 roster. Is he still there?
