I think the recruiting/NIL aspect would be the obvious question mark with Jones, but his track record as a coach and developer is top of the line. And he's had impressive tournament success with far fewer resources.James Jones is great. SUNY Albany grad. But, he is 62 years old and has not really been in a NIL environment as competitive as a lot of other schools.
The age means nothing to me if the motivation is there. If he restores the program to a competitive top 25/tournament team, it also makes the next hire a lot easier when he retires.
