I know the bad losses suck this year, but they're probably not as big a deal as we all think right now. Best case, this team is fighting for a 10-12 seed this season. All the teams in that group have bad losses. What this team needs is good wins. Wins will stick out more in that group than bad losses. Right now we've got 2 that should look good. We need a few more. If we don't get them, those losses never would have mattered anyway.
Second, I think the short rotation has more to do with just getting the team that will be on the floor in conference play as good as it can be. We're used to seeing backups now that will disappear in January. But this team just can't afford it. The regulars need all the time they can get together. I still think Howard could have gotten some time in there, but I'm ok with the regulars getting as much game time as possible.
We're not good this year, so it's just about squeezing as many wins out of this team as possible at this point.
