Why does the Taj thread, a guy who has a lot of Orange history and now plays for a regional (if not conference) “rival” get shut down so quickly while this one remains open? I know the response will be to shut this too but why can’t we leave these threads for former players open at least for a little while? Some people like to track and talk about Former Orange?

Because there are a few intemperate people who vent their spleen (and whatever other organs they're venting) in ways that are excessively hostile, mean-spirited or otherwise don't belong on a decent quality sports board.
Tell us what you really think? - Nah, not that interested in animating rank vulgarity or celebrating grievances.
