Yes. It could be Haile as well. Thomas was his HS coach and would be one of the first to know.
Is there someone else that this could be?
Free WillyI think he is fighting not to choose SU and he just can't pull the trigger just yet. lol. C'mon Willy, we are waiting for you.
I bet you could.Take that to a dating site Rackman. I can suggest a few good ones.
The RU mods have now "confirmed" there's no room left for Love because they got a commit from a Florida LB. "He waited too long and it's unfortunate for him." For starters, if the kid REALLY wanted RU, he would have committed. Also, since when does Rutgers have the luxury of turning down commitments from legit 4 star players? If love called Schiano right now, guaranteed Schiano takes his commitment. The whole thing is beyond comical and predictable.
It’s hysterical. I hope Schiano coaches there for eternity. So, the massive rationalization they expect everyone to believe, and the story that they're going with, is that they don't have room for a four-star recruit, because they took a two-star linebacker from out of state?
Got it.
Shitano forever! It’s hysterical. I hope Schiano coaches there for eternity.
No like.
Pitt is having a big recruiting year. Believe their class is ranked in the top 20 and that they are essentially done for 2024.Pitt has a 4-Star WR and a 3-Star WR who have already verballed.
They also have a 2-CBs and 1-Safety who have already verballed.
Is Willy Love a WR or CB/S target for SU?
Or does he see us as a conduit to LSU or tOSU? This is a new dawn. We are seen as a great place to showcase skills for the bigger offers. This is why it’s essential that we put guys in the league. Is Willy waiting/ hoping for a LSU offer?
We can only put them in the league if they stay with us however. If Duce were fortunate enough to make the NFL, for example, he’d be entering as an LSU Tiger. No one will ever even know he played for SU the minute he suits up for LSU this year unfortunately. If you mean we become a school that a player should stick with because we offer a path to the NFL as readily as any other school, then, yeah, that is the hope.Or does he see us as a conduit to LSU or tOSU? Don’t think brand has much to do with it. It’s about the money. We can only put them in the league if they stay with us however. Actually, what’s silly is, it’s already the case. The NFL will find talent wherever it exists. Just as the NBA will. If you are good, it doesn’t matter where you play. I personally think it’s sad that people are swayed so much by brands, which is essentially all that schools like LSU and tOSU are. These kids have grown up with educational approaches that favor brands.
I hope Love isn’t after LSU or plans to use SU as a stepping stone. That would be unfortunate and silly. After all, my example, Duce, most likely only become an UDFA rookie before getting cut, only to have to live his life as something other than a professional football player. That’s the most likely scenario for him. I hope Love commits and sticks.
Yes. That more importantly.Don’t think brand has much to do with it. It’s about the money.

I am on the same page as you, but I fear that just as we'd said regarding coaches seeing SU as a stepping stone, might we now see players looking at us the same way, as you say in your last paragraph? Might that have something to do with Love's continued interest even though his cousin is no longer here, and why it seems we had reduced our engagement? If LSU or 'Bama or whoever are not knocking on his door now, or the bag isn't what he thinks it should be, then he proves out for a year and listens to the new offers next year or the year after with his "free transfer".We can only put them in the league if they stay with us however. Maybe Duce is telling him he’s better off at SU. I think when all is said and done, Duce will regret moving to LSU.I am on the same page as you, but I fear that just as we'd said regarding coaches seeing SU as a stepping stone, might we now see players looking at us the same way, as you say in your last paragraph? I realize this is a cynical view and it's not the most appealing scenario for us to develop talent and build depth, and that will likely impact our recruiting strategy. We may not recruit high level HS kids for program stability, and then transfer portal or selective 4 stars for a high talent "rental" most likely at skill positions. The more draft success we have, the less pressure we have taking on a strategy like this.
