I played slow pitch for years, A/B and open nationals a few years ago outside of Nashville. Loved playing softball. Only played fast pitch a handful of times. Not as popular in Iowa anymore. Used to be every small town had a fast pitch team. I wish people played it more.

Holland Patent/Prospect if you're familiar with the area. Been playing since I was 17 or 18 I think.

Our league used to have 8 or so teams and now it is down to four. Once the 30-35 year olds that play are done the sport will die here. Sad because a big part of my summers growing up were spending weekends watching tournaments.
