Class of 2024 DB/WR Willy Love (NJ) Verbal to Monmouth

Our league used to have 8 or so teams and now it is down to four. Once the 30-35 year olds that play are done the sport will die here. Sad because a big part of my summers growing up were spending weekends watching tournaments.

I hope we land Willy Love.
Dude I got to work on my Fortnite...no time for physical activities

I still would love to get Love ❤️, Willy too. Hehehe

not that there's anything wrong with that seinfeld GIF by myLAB Box

His Hudl now shows as Hybrid/Safety/OLB; no mention of wideout. Secondary/linebacker is crowded. I guess we take him no matter what; but, really was excited for wide receiver.

The RU mods have now "confirmed" there's no room left for Love because they got a commit from a Florida LB. "He waited too long and it's unfortunate for him." For starters, if the kid REALLY wanted RU, he would have committed. Also, since when does Rutgers have the luxury of turning down commitments from legit 4 star players? If love called Schiano right now, guaranteed Schiano takes his commitment. The whole thing is beyond comical and predictable.

Its like the Rutgers mods take turns hitting themselves with a hammer, to see who gets CTE the quickest.

Oh you missed the best part. The mod said Love will have to “settle” for a spot at Syracuse. Umm, who went to a bowl last year and has a clearly better team again this year? Unreal. It’s a propaganda machine over there and Dohn is Goebbels

I think this demonstrates why Rutgers is despised around here.

No lie: I have googles AI service called "Bard", and asked it to write a haiku about a high school football player from New Jersey named "Willy Love" This is what it produced in about 2 seconds.

Sure, here is a haiku about a New Jersey high school football player named Willy Love:

Willy Love, Orange Pride Dreams of playing in the Dome Rutgers fans be damned.

Not sure if it's a haiku in structure, but gotta love the content.

Again, I swear on stack of whatever you hold holy, that this is 100 % true.

Rutgers hasn’t won more than 5 games since 2014 and they’re “turning down” 4 star top 300 players. Interesting.
Yeah but they play in a tough division. So what they lose to everyone else in the Big 10 too, but that’s definitely the reason..

12-58 in conference since they joined the B10

I wonder when/whether he will announce.

With the start of a new relationship in hand, Love says he is currently taking his time with his recruiting process.

"This upcoming season I'll make a decision," Love said. "I feel as though for my family and me, we just want to enjoy this process a little more because I didn't really get the experience other recruits did due to my injury. But that's okay because everybody's recruiting process is different."

So waiting for an offer from a whale?
