The dead period starts this Monday for approximately a month. Does it apply to players in the portal? Are they still allowed official visits? Figured CuseLegecy would know.

No OVs allowed during the Dead Period. Remember there is a second signing day on 2/1/23. The Dead Period ends on 1/13 with three OV weekends before that signing period.

Mid year JUCO transfers have from 12/21 to 1/15 to sign.

How are "student-athletes" supposed to receive new offers and evaluate them, while tending to their N-I-L activities, plus finishing their term papers and studying for their finals all at the same time?
I remember being totally consumed by the December academic activities when I was a student. But then, maybe these guys are more academically gifted than I was.
