Right - only half of them are douchenozzles.I think we become a little less amicable when our games are close too. Can't blame them for not wanting to lose to an unranked Syracuse team. However, booing injured players is BS.
There was a player on another team we played that was starting to walk off injured and then went down by direction of their coaches. Heck, I saw us do it in a game at the Dome. Just tell the players to stay down if they are hurt. If they shouldn't be walking off, don't get up. On the other hand, a guy injured is a guy injured, and he shouldn't be booed.
I'm not going to blanket all Clemson fans as douchenozzles. The game was tight, they got rowdy. Football games are not operas.
Clemson fans are gracious before the game but if is close they get ugly. They stated booing our injured guys when the game stayed close. Now we know their true colors. Very disappointing.
They did it repeatedly.Thought their fans were great. Classy, nice, welcoming. They were booing our kid that seemed to flop to slow their offense down. Said it happens to them a lot. Don't think they were booing our injuries.

At least three times. I thought it was more.huh? They did it 3 times! No one flopped.
Don't like the booing. At the end of the day, no way to know whether someone is faking or not so, in my opinion, you have to give them the benefit of the doubt.
There were two injuries in the first half that didn't get boos. The first one that got bood was #13 on our drive. Looked like a cramp to me. The next one was #50 with a similar looking scenario. The last one that I saw was the wide receiver, and I couldnt tell you what folks were thinking there.
I'm not excusing it, because I don't boo about anything but ref calls. I don't boo at players or coaches. Groupthink-mob mentality-piling on-peer pressure certainly brings out the worst in people. My uncle is one of the nicest people I know but I will not be near him at a football game because he turns into an obnoxious pessimistic loudmouth who calls for the backup quarterback after incompletions. People get dumb in a crowd. Try not to take it personally. There is a backstory to it, legitimate or not, that has nothing to do with Cuse.
What offense? They scored 16 points. They should get over themselves.Thought their fans were great. Classy, nice, welcoming. They were booing our kid that seemed to flop to slow their offense down. Said it happens to them a lot. Don't think they were booing our injuries.
Please explain Dabo complaining to the refs on the sidelines about our injuries as the crowd boo'd ?? The classlessness starts at the top and trickles down to the sheep.
Who raised those fans?I didn't see that. Give me a time in the game when it happened and I'll take a look. You may be assuming what he was arguing about and be wrong. I think most of the time, we have already made up our minds about a situation and then find facts that justify our positions. Kinda what the clemson fans were doing by booing without any idea if the injuries were legit or not. You know what they say about assuming...
Don't go to Carolina. They will throw nacho chips at you if you beat them in triple overtime. That really suck$.They did it repeatedly.
I saw the same thing and could not believe he was complaining to the official about injured players.I didn't see that. Give me a time in the game when it happened and I'll take a look. Dabo isn't the brightest bulb in the marquee that's why they pay a fortune to keep their two coordinators. Without Venables and Morris good ole Dabo might have been thrown to the curb long ago.I saw the same thing and could not believe he was complaining to the official about injured players.
I think Morris gets 100,000 less than Shafer.Dabo isn't the brightest bulb in the marquee that's why they pay a fortune to keep their two coordinators. Without Venables and Morris good ole Dabo might have been thrown to the curb long ago.
If I remember correctly, Morris makes more money than HCSS.
Either way...not bad for an OC!I think Morris gets 100,000 less than Shafer.
Certainly, did not mean to sound as if I disagreed with your point.Either way...not bad for an OC!
Sooner or later, SU is going to have to open the wallet and pay their asst coaches.
