next Wednesday. I know some people speculated that we would always play in the late game and that makes sense, but just wondering if anyone seen it yet.

i am sure we will play the 2nd game. I just want to know whom we will play.

Glad to be of help on my first post :) The SU athletics site says next Wednesday at 9pm, following the first game at 7pm, which means it will likely be a bit later than 9 for the tip off in my opinion. http://www.suathletics.com/news/2011/11/15/MBB_1115114842.aspx

Did I read that correctly and see that we are the only team with even a VOTE in the current top 25 in this tournament? (someone might change that of course if they upset us) I thought this was the preseason NIT, not Coaches vs Cancer, Carrier Classic, or the actual NIT. I'm a little disappointed, as sometimes you can face 2 currently ranked teams in a preseason tournament, and establish a bit of legitimacy if you win it. We all know SU generally doesn't schedule marquis non-conference matchups like other schools, so I was looking forward to a chance to see at least one in the tournament. But from many years of being a fan, I know even a non-ranked team could take us out. Kind of a no-win situation the way I look at it, but maybe some of you see it differently. Heaven knows we have enough "tune-up" games for JB to experiment with line-ups and strategies coming up. Sure, winning by 20+ excites me, but winning by a decent margin against a reputable team is far more exciting to me.

Game definitely won't tip until 9:30. Even without a top 25 opponent, these will still be "BCS" games, which is nice
