The real question is have we been pursuing him with any kind of intensity.Showing up with hay in hand when MCW quits on us isn't very convincing. I like his size but not sure of his offense from the floor as in his "J":noidea:I still say let's hold the scholarship and get Joseph next year.
Absolutely, that's our boy!I wonder if Zags source is our buddy SJUBallView attachment 3100.
Any chance we use BJ has the defense to play some 2???
Grant, Roberson and Chris are loaded and taller then BJ.
Imho I think BJ's best chance in the early going to get minutes until he bulks up is at the 2. As Cuseguy mentioned, we do have several players there but the 3rd guard spot is far from a lock for anybody. So it'll be fun to see how it all unfolds when practice starts in the fall.Any chance we use BJ has the defense to play some 2???

Quits on us. Asinine post alert! The kid's primary objective in coming to SU was to get to the NBA in the most financially rewarding way. Leaving this year may accomplish that for him. Do you realize, Cali, that until SU decides that it wants to offer MCW (or any other player) a scholarship for next year, they have no scholarship at the end of the school year? Why should any kid commit beyond one year when NONE OF THE SCHOOLS COMMIT BEYOND ONE YEAR? I know, as a liberal/socialist, you think that you know best for someone else, and that MCW in particular should toil away at relatively (to NBA money) slave wages for your entertainment. Its best for MCW for him decide what he should do, not you. Post like yours' hurt the program. Why do kids want to get vilified for pursuing their dreams. The real question is have we been pursuing him with any kind of intensity.Showing up with hay in hand when MCW quits on us isn't very convincing. Tell me exactly how MCW is QUITTING on anyone, and exactly what allegiance your warped tiny mind thinks he owes to SU or its "fans."
Oh, then tell us again how much money your kid gets to make. Wouldn't it be better if he were doing something for the poor.

If that were the main criteria in a player, we'd have a team full of 15-year-olds who lock themselves in their south campus apartments for days at a time.If BJ can stroke it (no pun intended), he will see some minutes at 2-3. We will need some shooters. I like this kid's potential.

Combo forward that can play both positions but I think he's best suited as a 4.Is Roberson a 3 or a 4? I could see him as Grants backup next year and BJ backing up CJ.
Doubt Grant and McCullough will ever be in the same team.
Damnit, you're getting a like out of me, because that's 100% a joke I'd make and then snicker to myself for minutes on end.If that were the main criteria in a player, we'd have a team full of 15-year-olds who lock themselves in their south campus apartments for days at a time.
I agree 100% with you and I don't think you were too hard on Cali. Ask Cali how he felt last year when Noel went to Kentucky and not the Cuse. What people don't realize is how much is at stake at major college division one athletics. It's a huge business and JAB is one of the best out there. Hey Cali, how do you think Providence felt when JAB stole Warrick from under their noses when NC State stole Julius Hodge.Quits on us. Asinine post alert! Looks like a done deal, unless the gossip was initiated by our pal.I wonder if Zags source is our buddy SJUBallView attachment 3100.
Good pickup for them if it happens and tough blow to Temple. Jordan was a regular at Temple games this year and with Khalif Wyatt leaving, you would have thought the home town kid would step right in and take over. Imagine if DC2 had teased us like that and then decided to go elsewhere lol his family would've had to leave town.[/quote]Looks like a done deal, unless the gossip was initiated by our pal.
Johnnies get one? Doesn't even feel right, but god bless them, this guy is a talented player.

I agree 100%. I was thinking he was a Temple commit all the while. Hometown, shining in the spotlight, etc.Good pickup for them if it happens and tough blow to Temple. They've had their share of problems recently but there is also an undercurrent of progress within the program. Jordan's status was causing some angst @ UCLA as well and new Head Coach Alford was getting piled on by UCLA alums saying that if he blew the Jordan opportunity it would be a major fail!I agree 100%. I was thinking he was a Temple commit all the while. Hometown, shining in the spotlight, etc.
But if true, Johnnies really have gathered some talent together in the past few years.
Now, if they can only show their guys what a basketball looks like, because they are clueless on the court lately.
