So I'm hearing that Marek is 10000% gone, Bras, Jesse are 100% going to transfer and JBA is leaning towards it as well. Sid is a 50/50 shot right now to come back. Both Q and Griff will test out the draft and one will return to start next year along with Benny. Woody stays and is the 3rd forward.

Forwards: Benny, Woody and either Griff or Q
Center: Sid, Frank or if Sid doesn't come back, they will nab another center (hearing they want one with college experience).

We also may nab a 3 star guard in hopes they are ready by the time they are a junior.

I think AG/Benny could be just as nasty but in a different way - AG is more dynamic with a higher ceiling than QG

Agreed. Though with the offense we run, Griff’s ability to both get his own shot and make bad shots is useful. We would be missing that without him...though the need for it would be lessened if we’d give the keys to Kadary.

You never know what can happen. Too much talent is not a bad thing. It would be nice to have a ”starting 7”.

Quincy and Alan both want to play professional how do they showcase playing less with a 5 star talent that isn’t going to sit on the bench.
JB doesn’t go deep.
The starters are getting a lot of minutes.
We aren’t keeping both QG and AG.
Especially since AG can’t play 2 guard.

I will say that rumblings during the season aren’t the final word. If JB wants a kid and has a real plan for him to play a key role the following season, he’ll usually get him to stay. Outside of guys turning pro, give him a chance to pitch these kids on their roles for next season before people jump and assume the worst.

I still think Jesse stays. Him and Frank are the future at center and this was a free year for both of them.

No offense to Bulldog but I think he’s just hearing the usual chatter that happens every season. We’ll see what happens, but we won’t lose a ton of guys. And I don’t think a guy like Woody is going anywhere. He’s the future. Last season, we all knew Jalen was likely to transfer. Same with Howard Washington if he wanted to find real playing time elsewhere (because he wasn’t going to get it here...it was obvious he wasn’t a high major player). I think Goodine was the only real surprise loss, but the staff wasn’t too worried because they knew what they had coming in with Kadary.
