should have gotten a flag for acting as though he got punched by Riley Dixon?

No. Not anymore than Morgan should have got for swatting the ball after LF7 TD run.

No, but this was not Jamal Adams' first flop lol:

No, but this sort of thing is prevalent in sports (soccer is definitely the worst) and is a form of lying. I lost a lot of respect for Jeter a few years ago when he pretended that a pitch hit him in the hand when it actually hit the end of the bat. I guess winning is preferred to personal integrity by some.

I'm just thankful that Jamal Adams didn't properly get in the way of a Riley Dixon fist pump. It would've shattered his helmet and ended with Dixon's fist lodged in his cerebellum. One does not simply just "take" a punch from Riley Dixon even if it is not a true punch.

Hard to punt when your sitting in a jail cell for assault... If the cell can hold him. Open question.

There's not much flopping in the Premier League, especially compared to the Spanish or Italian leagues.
Who would have thought passion and drama were common in the Spanish and Italian leagues?! ;)

I see no problem with the "flop" on this one.

the guy tapped his facemask and he collapsed like he was hit by a mack truck.

that being said, it got his team a free 15, so well done, I suppose...

It was not a "tap" and should be a penalty... falling down called more attention to it.

since were discussing EPL, I say bollocks

it was such an innocuous touching, it shouldn't be flagged, especially when the defender reacts the way he did. that only encourages more clown behavior. I don't care it may be customary to throw a flag there. that's stupid.

also, id like to add that the florida player is backing up and the lsu guy is clearly moving toward and getting in his grill. I think the florida player's use of force was reasonable under the circumstances. he lightly/at most moderately pushed the opposing player away.

Wow, really? All the years Jeter had been in the league and the overall way in which he carried himself during that duration and one moment like that makes you lose "a lot" of respect for him. Certainly not one of his better moments, but in the entire scope of things...chicken feed imo. I don't know...glass houses... :noidea:

Scott Shafer lied.

Pretending to kick the FG and faking everyone out. No personal integrity at all. ;)

He did get hit by Riley Dixon, accidentally. Still could have been a penalty on Dixon. Has to make sure when he throws out an arm to celebrate no opponent is standing in front of him.

I don't see how, in that particular situation, where a ref would throw a flag. I'd like to think a quality ref would decipher the context of the situation (joy vs. anger, etc.) and one's motivation, intent, etc. and just rule it as incidental/inadvertent contact.
