Does Hunt take another snap at QB?

Hunt should be a TE next year or transfer out if he wants to play QB. I would be very disappointed if the staff went back to Hunt next year. This one game by Long game me more excitement about the program then Hunt ever did. Long looked like everything you would want in a QB especially playing your first game against the number 1 team in the nation. Long just has a spark about him that I think a team and fanbase can get behind.

It's not crazy to think the last 2 years SU opened the season with the wrong QB under center. Last year Hunt should have played over Allen. This year I think you can make a case Long and even Wilson are superior player to Hunt.

Well, Hunt is not officially out for this year. But given what we saw today, there is certainly no urgency to rush him back in there.

How many wide open WRs did you see these guys miss today? I saw none. In fact I even saw them throwing people open and into tight windows.

Do either of these guys miss a wide open Lewis up the seam to start the game against Ville? I don't think so.

I don't think so. McDonald ran the screens a terrible times. Lester's play calling made the screens today successful.

Did you notice the screens (and most passes) were on target today? Screens are all about timing and if the receiver has to work to catch the ball the play is killed before it starts.

Biggest take away was that the offense looked smooth and confident. Players looked in position and never seemed to be in a bad play vs their d (outside of a few inside runs - but I think our Oline just got beat on those plays - not scheme).

Basically I think Lester is about 10x the OC McDonald is. Everyone looked better (outside of drops).

Totally agree. And my question about McD was not a meant to bash Terrel. At all. Just making the point that AJ and Austin seem to be able to throw a pass (integral to McD's offense) that Hunt has had trouble with. What with playing football and graduating early, what Hunt has done here is highly commendable. Not many kids can do what he has done.
