I can't figure out if Doug really wanted his own guys or if he could not find anyone else. I would be willing to bet he wanted his guys and if they lose, he will go down with his guys.

There is a growing skepticism here in Buffalo over how many SU guys he has hired (see Jerry Sullivan).

I really hope things work out for Doug, for the few times I have met him, I like the man. I do not blame him for taking an NFL job and taking his guys with him. They also probably wanted an NFL opportunity.

Look at Shafer's hires, SU will be more than fine without them. Onward and Upward.
