You really don't use endowment money to upgrade your athletic facilities. As for your second point, they can't get the Chancellor out of here fast enough for me. I would love to hear what his accomplishments have been? U.S. News and report. Has he stopped the slide? No. Does he even care about our athletics which, let's face it is an important part of who a school is and the experience of going to that school? Can't say that he has been good at that. What has he done?

Also for those that don’t know- he’s building a program and school that is not currently at SU which is “his baby” and he is doing everything he can to “get funds” for this school. He has combined 3 massive departments so far and combined departments from Falk so that money can be allocated for what he’s building. So that gives you a good indication about what this guy cares about. Hes a clown and I can’t wait for him to be gone

Jake is spot on about what they need and the amount. I’ll say this now- cuse already has $1m lined up for a center for next year through NIL. But so many donations are going to NIL and not the operation of the program so we need to look at operation of the program and the program needs as well. But this is the hard part with NIL these days.

Yup this I agree with and I think we missed this offseason on what the team actually needs. If we reversed spending and put what we spent on Eddie on an actual PG and what we spent on Carlos towards a normal defensive rim runner type center we would have been better off.

And if we are on a strict budget might have been worth examining if we needed both JJ and Bell back. They seem redundant both focused on offense and no real defense.

Decent centers are much harder to come by. Guards are plentiful, but we still failed to land a difference-maker at PG.

I will argue that finding an impact PG is more important in college than finding a center. I do think to be an elite team we need to find a decent center but I am more focused on being a tournament team and looking like a competitive team on both ends and we need a leader at lead guard for that in college IMO. So I would spend my money on PG first and then center. I would focus my recruiting and development on wing players. In this day and age with the portal that is how I would build my team

If Donnie does come back next year, the biggest priority should be to get the best point guard in the portal. Throw a lot of NIL dollars at him. Donnie, Sadiq and the class we have coming in could really be special with a top notch and experienced point guard at the helm.
