I cant imagine how you could put tables in the concourse, there is no room .

I have been going almost 40 yrs. The number of times I have talked with people in the concourse at halftime is still zero. I don't recall the last time I even needed to leave my seat at halftime. why enter the mosh pit. go out mid 2nd or mid 3rd.

Agree 100%, I think people would be more inclined to go if they had some better choices. I get that the university makes money off of it, but it’s gross. Get a Dino BBq stand, Tully’s Pavones pizza, heids and take a cut
The State Fair can’t even get a Dino Bbq stand, what makes you think SU will?

This isn't an area of expertise for me - but I think getting contracts with individual local vendors for food service is really challenging. Prudential Center had some local restaurants providing food when they first opened in 2007...that lasted for a few years and then disappeared because it didn't make any sense for the arena or the restaurants. There are dozens of challenges with this model - getting restaurants to set up food trucks in the quad is feasible since they control all the cooking equipment. Asking restaurants to use whatever the Dome has is not something restaurants will generally sign up for. You also have each individual restaurant trying to manage inventory, OR being asked to give up inventory management to the University - both of those have severe downsides to fan experience.

I'd rather there be one vendor, and the university work with them to upgrade as much as possible within the limitations of the Dome footprint.

Let's get the army corps of engineers on this.

No way to tell me in this world of ghost kitchens and whatnot there can't be a solution.

The Army Corp of Engineers has expanded into managing stadium food service?

You learn something new every day...

I don't think dino bbq wants to put in hours of prep to try and do complex bbq at the dome. thry were fine at the fair until labor issues happened. Just put in a big catered order before every home game fir like 500

knock down ESF and build a giant restaurant complex that can get better food in the building and add premier parking next to gate A it can't be this hard!
Actually build a multi story addition with garage parking, escalators, elevator, food prep and restaurant attached to the west endzone side next to Irving.

The big expensive "milling about" lobby area that they showed us pictures of.
Still have no idea what you are talking about. Miron court? That can’t be it. There’s an alcove that definitely gets used, because that’s where I’ve posted up in a couple of times.

Fine. Let’s go with the sensible way

they had one until they couldnt staff it anymore.
Why not transfer staff and operations from the downtown location for the 13 days? Find out where the sticking points are and figure it out! If tullys can make it work it’s not rocket science.
