Future Campus Framework Discussion

Any news on the Dome renovations? Just watched the Clemson game AGAIN and the Dome needs to install larger LED scoreboards, similar to other college venues, and maybe reduce seating in the end zones to accomplish this. Hopefully some news soon!

If there was it would be posted. It's a matter of funding and until they reach their goal there will probably be no announcement.

Thanks and let’s get my former teammate John Lally involved. Heard cash is burning a hole in his pockets.

Until the inflated roof and associated vents are gone there just doesn’t seem to be any viable way to get a larger screen installed. Placing a larger screen below the vents and wiping out some seats might be possible but would be a waste of time & money when one considers that a major renovation is rumored to be imminent.

Imminent???? 2025 is imminent?

Wasn't this summer last summer? By any chance may he mean by Indian Summer? Or come around that time, summer in the southern hemisphere? ;):)

So, do I interpret that Syverud is not making the decision on this? I haven't followed everything closely, but I'm guessing the Facilities department and Capital Committee are the final arbiters?

Why can't we get one of these whales to donate to the dome renovation?

Exciting to see: 1) for veterans and their families; and 2) as construction gets underway on this project, the BOT can turn to the next big project . ;)

What happened to the SU medical school (with the veterans emphasis)? There's such an opportunity there, with all the TBI's and related research that needs to be done. We're just getting started on the connection between combat and CTE, for one example. Then there's the whole re-integration issue (post-combat civilian life). Big opportunity to really do some good for service members that deserve it.
