I'm sure the Pinstripe loves us (we show up in the crowd and on the field) and wants to see us in the future when they go ACC, but too many times to the well and becoming the Syracuse Bowl? I'd think they want new blood every so often.
Makes no sense when most of your CNY fans will be at a hoops game...send Pitt there.
Well, we do have a corner of our dome that commemorates our Pinstripe Bowl victories. With the amount of Bowls that struggle to fill seats, I think finding a team that's either a huge brand name or a local team is a top priority. And if I know Doctor Gross like I think I know Doctor Gross, New York's College Team wants to play in Yankee Stadium again.I assume we're the backup plan should ND find their way to warmer pastures?

Eh, I don't like it but we'd still draw more to pinstripe than Shreveport or maybe even Detroit...even though it'd be a bunch less than the last two times. I get the logic and an opponent like Rutgers would mitigate our small turnout a bit.Makes no sense when most of your CNY fans will be at a hoops game...send Pitt there.
Ooh, the band implications would be sad. Hopefully they'd bring a high school group to the dome and let the whole marching band to to pinstripe...or just send one of the top high school bands to NYC which might actually be better.Eh, I don't like it but we'd still draw more to pinstripe than Shreveport or maybe even Detroit...even though it'd be a bunch less than the last two times. BC has no alum down here! Gives us Dallas!!!We were headed to Dallas, but BC got involved. If it is not Pinstripe, it's Detroit
Im sorry but if fans are going to a regular season basketball game that no one outside of syracuse cares about than idk what to think anymore.

Interesting. Still looking for revenge for the non-Fiesta Bowl, I see. #DiamondFerriWe were headed to Dallas, but BC got involved. If it is not Pinstripe, it's Detroit
I'll take the bowl game. That memory will last forever. I've been to a lot of *big* bball games over the years at the Dome that I have forgotten about.I'm a huge SU football fan, but how is a game pitting two top 25 basketball teams against one another worse than a meaningless bowl game featuring two 6-6 teams???
