But, if you find basketball to be an inherently better game, and good basketball to be far superior to mediocre football, its a no brainier.I'm very surprised so many here would choose the basketball game.
Over the last eight years alone we've seen two bowl games vs. 144 home basketball games.
Bowl games are way more memorable, I don't care how meaningless the game is from a national standpoint. I had a freakin' blast at the Pinstripe last year. Way more fun than one of countless basketball games at the Dome, as enjoyable as they can be.

I took my brother to last years pinstripe bowl who basically is a typical canadian guy and only cares about a hockey puck ( Hockey is my fav sport ). he had no interest in SU football until i took him to nyc now we are arranging to go wherever the hell they end up this bowl season
As soon as i posted that I was waiting for someone to reply saying that lol.I would be willing to watch a tiddlywink contest if you took me to NYC

thats because field goals aren't kicked in basketball... but crazy shiit like that happens every single night.the auburn alabama game...never seen a basketball game end like that

Postseason gets a bit better next year with a 'playoff'. When it gets to 8, it will be great. Not NCAA tournament great, but better than the bowl mishmash we have now.I can respect that. The sport for me (syracuse aside) has soured for me the last 15 years. Growing up in the 80's and even the 90's it was so much fun to watch. Now its the sec and everyone else and the post season is terrible. More than half of the division one hoops teams have a legit shot of winning an ncaa game. You cant say that about college football. There isnt a wichita state or butler in the college football world
OkPearl vs bc 1983
Duke vs kentucky 1991
Kentucky vs indiana 2012
There are 50 amazing endings in college hoops every season.
Because I'm not debating college football vs. college basketball. I'll take college basketball all day. I'm simply comparing a Syracuse bowl game vs. a random home basketball game in December.Did you go to the final four? Why not compare postseason to postseason?
No that was not a sarcastic ok. I believe youBelieve me i watched most of the bama auburn game and it was a classic. Not denying that. You can count on one hand how many of those games there are a year in college football.
