Game 3 Depth Chart / Game Notes | Purdue

Again, PSUs DL is very explosive.. so this idea that “yeah, but they are explosive” isn’t really persuasive. 6’4” 321 and explosive
I watch Big10 football too. You boostin way too much. Typical homer responses from you lol. No one needs to sell you on our scheme. You here to exchange info or troll? Make a choice.

I really don't disagree, SU's d-line from a DT is smaller and certainly not nearly as strong as PSU's. SU's DE's are fine from a size perspective but I would say yes there not on the level of PSU's. That said our secondary is unlikely to get sucked in reguarly to help because Purdue rarely runs the ball and its not exactly a strength of your team.
Maybe smaller but we practice everyday against a Oline bigger than Purdue and do just fine

Confused why you are so enthusiastic about the Purdue OL and its ability to block.

Purdue hasn't had an RB get more than 533 yards in a season for 3 years. Their RBs struggle to average even 4 ypc.

Syracuse had a really good defense against the run last year and continues to be good at this.

Do you really think Purdue of all teams, is going to have great success running the ball? It looks to me like Purdue is very one dimensional on offense.
You weren’t listening, on account of the Big Ten.

Purdue plays a polar opposite style to the rest of the big ten on offense. Your defense would work wonders against Iowa though because Spencer petras couldn’t hit your phone from your face
Iowa? My small town high school can hold Iowa to 10 points and that's with 4 of those points on defense.

Purdue oline avgs 308 per, Cuse oline avgs 330. If we replaced Vet with Illoa we'd avg 335 across the line. For reference Lville oline avgs 301 and UConn avg 300.

If Purdue's 288 avg dline can't pass rush as stated seems like their defensive line is way too small and will just get leaned on by that 42 lb weight deficit while Tucker runs for 250... At least following the logic in this thread being proposed

If the Big 10 was a conference of dominant giants then they’d have a title experience not brought to them by Ohio State within the last 20+ years.

I respect O’Connell and Brohm but if I’m supposed to be scared that Purdue’s got a day off vs us because of the size of our line… I’ll remind them we play better programs in Clemson, FSU and nearly ND at this point annually.

Nah dude, our offense just establishes the run in practice everyday to start because they can. Once we’ve beaten our lightweight DL into the ground and vacuumed the LB’s in, we get to work on passing. We need to teach those midget DLinemen what’s up.

Then we email Aaron Donald that he’s too light to be a quality DT. He’s only 284, gets handled every week.

I find it quite amusing reading this thread and boilerDs responses. I know the general feelings around Ped St here. I also am a PA guy. 90 pct of my family outside the house I grew up in were PSU fans, the best man in my wedding works for the Penn St AD, another friend works on the Penn St training staff. It's not really relevant for posting here but need to share that for the next piece.
I had to point these guys to this thread to watch a Purdue fan give the best PSU homer post I've seen in a long time. They are loving all the praise and getting a chuckle.

Penn States entire secondary is not the equivalent of SUs CBS. That is false.. oh and those a bit more familiar, as in close to the program agree.. damn fools I guess.

Remember that tiny 255 lb DE we had back in the day? Dwight something other

Lol. Good stuff. I do like Porter at corner but overall I like our secondary more. I would probably feel differently if they still had Jaquan Brisker

Aren’t you paying attention? It’s only because every Big 10 lineman is 6 foot 8, 375 lbs of muscle and runs like Lamar Jackson.

If not for that, they’d rush for 3,000 yards every season.

When Purdue plays Rutgers, this dude and Al put a lot of stress on the internet.

Agreed on Brisker yet even then that's an aggressive statement none the less. In the past 3 years not sure I've heard such elite praise from even the psu football crowd that if you know them are not known for humility lol.

Dude you totally frogot PJ Mustipher the greatest DT of all time. If you don't have him you can't stop the run.

The big glaring difference between them and you guys is the DL. There’s is a strength and explosive for a large size. Yours is small. There will be back 8 players getting sucked to the LOS. That’s not good against an offense like Purdue’s.

If you don’t disagree with the above what’s the issue …
It’s football, not Sumo wrestling, we get it, PSU is bigger on the d line. BFD
