Can't they do the kids' ballfield across the street from stadium next to train platform??

It's technically a city park, no??

I would think that would be a no-brainer for the spot... Can see the stadium directly behind it, etc.

Macomb Dam Park is right across the street from the Stadium. It is the site of the old Stadium. WFAN held its FanFest there before one of the Subway Series games this year. If GameDay does come for SU-ND, it seems like a natural spot. It's really big with softball and soccer fields.

With great views of the stadium.

Babe Ruth Plaza would make sense too. But could be loud with the trains.

They did week 1 when they were in SB for Michigan-Notre Dame.
They did when they went to Jacksonville for CBS game of Georgia-Florida.
They did it for CBS game of Alabama-LSU.

They go to other stations games. ND-SU is a no brainer with this week’s slate.

JAX ... parking lot
Bama/LSU ... college campus

You're not holding Gameday in the Bronx without the cooperation of NYC's Mayor's Office.

And that ain't cheap.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's ucf/cincy... I also wouldn't doubt that the mayor's office quoted the GDP of a small country to gameday brass for the privilege of holding the event...

Let's not forget ESPN's parent company is Disney... I'm sure they like the impact of a big event like this in and around Orlando for obvious residual theme park turnstile fannies through the door...
