Let's not forget ESPN's parent company is Disney... I'm sure they like the impact of a big event like this in and around Orlando for obvious residual theme park turnstile fannies through the door...

No superstition but our Gameday track record is such that I really don't want that honor ever again. Was in Blacksburg Oct 16th '99 - still have PTSD from that one.

If ND hadn’t moved the game off campus there is no doubt the game would have been the Gameday choice. Good news is moving it gives us a better chance. I will take that trade off and will await Gameday next season against Clemson

Not sure of the entirety of Gameday history, but I can't recall a home venue being Gameday twice in the same year. They went to South Bend for the Michigan game.

Good. I'd prefer not having the extra distraction. Historically, we crap the bed when our games are really hyped up. The last time Gameday was at Syracuse game (Miami in '00 I believe) we got throttled. I don't care if there is 0 hype or coverage for this game, i just want the W.
