Georgetown Game Thread...

Remember when we used to have transition points?

Our halfcourt offense doesn’t have the horses. I’d think we’d be all about trying to beat teams up the floor. Nobody even runs hard when we get rebounds.

No one knew who Derrickson was before this game. Now he'll be on the Wooden list.

Dolezaj’s defensive effort is subpar. Put a hand on that dunk. This is georgetown.

Here we go again with this press because we're so great at transition defense

Look on the bright side, the last two times we lost at Georgetown we went to the final four.

If the offense doesn’t have horses you need to scheme to what they do.
Not run what always run no matter the personnel.
We are running an offense that requires a good PG.
we don’t have one so don’t run that offense.

Wow, it appears G'town's for real.

For real at what? Syracuse is playing like they've never seen height. The Hoyas are going to get smacked down to Earth in conference play.

Apparently they dont call fouls on Gtown anymore either. Govan basically blew up brisset on that screen

You mean at Georgetown.
Last 2 times we played at Georgetown we have made the Final Four.

All Battle has to do is move his feet and he takes the sideline away, instead he’s lazy and is late to the spot. If you notice, Battle is never in the picture when we are in defensive transition. He never gets back. If SU can get any consistency on offense and puts some pressure on GU, they can still win this game. It would be interesting to see how GU handles a close game.

Honeymoon’s over with Marek. He actively shy’s away from contact. Cant have that weak of a link against a team like this.
