Will always be one of my favorite SU players. Have to be a fan of any player who played HS football in the STAC and the 607.
Or maybe this is as high as he goes barring a ridiculous season next year and it's not worth it for him to risk it... this program is not a clusterfk.Kid is taking his degree and pursuing a dream. God bless him.
However, given where he projects to get drafted, you have to think the cluster **** that is the program didn't do us any favors for keeping this guy. I bet if CJ plays for WVU, he comes back for a 5th year.
I'm a Corning East grad myself.Ha! Love the 607 and STAC reference! I'm from Johnson City.
My revised record for 2012...
4-8

Yes everything about SU sucks, the coaching that got him to the NFL sucks! Poor bastard Chandler it just didn't workout for him here. Just to bad for the kid really.Kid is taking his degree and pursuing a dream. God bless him.

He left because he will be a 3rd round draft choice. Thats it period, wouldn't you?Reasons to leave:
1. Graduates in May.
2. Knee injury this year.
3. Mediocre team with him or without him.
4. He can get paid.

To be honest, if it was just Chandler leaving I wouldn't think anything of it, but when you add in Shamarko and Dorian trying to get out even though they probably won't get drafted, it makes me a little nervous about the program.

Ya my only concern about Doug is that he pushes to hard. I sense that he needs know when to back off.Again Marrone's system and the way he runs the program is not for everyone and during a losing season can wear players down. People can blow it off all they want but its a concern when its causign players ie Graham and Shamarko to leave and influencing Chandler. People dont realize how bad things had gotten by the end of the season.
