Head of NCAA officials John Adams

was bombarded by questions as he left the arena and looked overwhelmed according to media tweets.

After a game like that he should be required to answer every last one.

If you're going to continue employing these asshats you need to explain yourself.

Was one of the officials was related to Tim Higgins?

Great...

If so, I look forward to four more decades of inept officiating out of him, continuing his father's illustrious legacy.

Media probably still complaing about the Asheville game.

I've been an SU fan since I got to the Hill as a frosh in 1991 and I have never, ever, blamed a loss on officiating.

I am tonight.

That was an absolute joke. Did we have within 10 fouls of tonight's tally in any game this year?

Shameful.

And I'd like to point out that there is a difference between "blaming" a loss on officiating and pointing out that the officiating sucked and blatantly advantaged one team.

Which it did, on both counts.

At one point during the game CBS showed someone they identified as Hathaway near the SU bench talking to JB. Was that really him and if so What was he doing talking to JB DURING the game?

NCAA Director of officials John Adams looked overwhelmed leaving the arena. He declined comment. "You're not the only one who asked."

Honestly, I don't even care if they say we got the short end of the stick (they shouldn't to save face), but he should apologize for them sucking so bad. And they did suck both ways, I just think (my opinion) they sucked A LOT more to our disadvantage.

we will never know how this game plays out since key players on both sides rode the pine for long stretches.. the worst part was the most important aspect of officiating.. getting the obvious calls right didnt happen. taking sullingers ability to use elbows and shoulders and crafts ability to grab and reach.. didnt occur... on the flip side the touch body fouls on both teams.. made every drive awkward as players looked for the whistle or tried to avoid it.. osu was given the opportunity to be over aggressive attacking the rim and challenging.. su was allowed to get by their man using this same technique.. just awful and unfair to the players

Yeah, that might be the most amazing from the entire game. You call a game THAT closely, but you let that hand-checking go, you let the jersey grabbing on D when our guys are coming around screens go, you let the contact with Sullinger go, yet you call foul after foul both ways where absolutely NO CONTACT occurred on defense? What was that?

I hear you. But I actually am blaming this loss on the refs. Our team didn't know how to play because they had no idea how to do anything without getting whistled. It was insane. The fact that they were even in it with a minute left was remarkable.

I mean four guys with 4 fouls at the 12 minute mark of the 2nd half?! When does that EVER happen?!?!

Did the officiating suck? Absolutely.

Was it lopsided? Absolutely not. The fouls were 22-20 until the last minute when Syracuse started to foul intentionally. Both teams were hit with some terrible calls.

Hathaway is the ex-UConn AD who was the head of the selection committee. What the announcers said was that JB was talking to him (probably complaining) not the other way around.

Yeah I knew who he was, I just thought it was strange they would be carrying on a conversation during the game.
