As in "P***y Kline?He's a p***y.
I've been an SU fan since I got to the Hill as a frosh in 1991 and I have never, ever, blamed a loss on officiating.
I am tonight.
That was an absolute joke. Did we have within 10 fouls of tonight's tally in any game this year?
Shameful.
Pete Thamel Right so WTH did he say?
More like P***y Galore.As in "P***y Kline?
we will never know how this game plays out since key players on both sides rode the pine for long stretches.. the worst part was the most important aspect of officiating.. getting the obvious calls right didnt happen. taking sullingers ability to use elbows and shoulders and crafts ability to grab and reach.. didnt occur... on the flip side the touch body fouls on both teams.. made every drive awkward as players looked for the whistle or tried to avoid it.. osu was given the opportunity to be over aggressive attacking the rim and challenging.. su was allowed to get by their man using this same technique.. just awful and unfair to the players
And I'd like to point out that there is a difference between "blaming" a loss on officiating and pointing out that the officiating sucked and blatantly advantaged one team.
Which it did, on both counts.
At one point during the game CBS showed someone they identified as Hathaway near the SU bench talking to JB. Was that really him and if so What was he doing talking to JB DURING the game?
Yeah I knew who he was, I just thought it was strange they would be carrying on a conversation during the game.Hathaway is the ex-UConn AD who was the head of the selection committee. What the announcers said was that JB was talking to him (probably complaining) not the other way around.
