Makes me so angry...... Not!

Can't believe the number of SU season ticket holders who chose to support Duke by selling their fans their tickets. You're not real SU fans so stop pretending to be one.

Stubhub and other secondary markets you don't know who is buying them.

you! I just said what I would do in that situation. I didn't bang on anyone just stated my opinion. You are being the c*ock here.

Go back and re-read you post sport, then explain why you chose to add that last sentence in. Up until that last sentence you were posting about what you would do. Your last sentence changed the context to a judgement of people that DO have season tickets, yet do not behave in the way you prefer. There's only two options here - it was either a really lazy line you should have left out, or it was a very passive-aggresive way of trying to shame people into your worldview. If its the first, I apologize but also suggest you take more care in your posting. If its the second option, then I called it right and feel no need to apologize for my response.

I will say that Section 114 has some ticketholders who are lousy fans.

They've had big empty patches for a number of games this year but the section was full and had a heavy blue presence today.

The presence of Duke fans doesn't bother me -- I like some diversity in the building -- but there are certainly some ticketholders who aren't terribly devoted.

I literally saw approximately 9 Duke fans outside of the typical 3 or 4 rows always reserved for the opposing team. It shouldn't be hard for you to hunt down those 9 fans who sold their tix to Dukies.

I would never sell my tickets to a home game, I would give them away to friends. But if someone did and was confronted, the confronters should pack a lunch. They better be prepared for the consequences. IT'S NOT THEIR BUSINESS. This is not Russia. You have no right to tell your neighbor who he can sell his house to. STOP.

Just a suggestion. If I were to have tickets and wanted to sell them, I would go to the SU message boards and post it there. Still able to make plenty of money on them and know you are letting some good SU people get to see the game. But if I did have tickets, I would not have sold them for all the money in the world. This was THE game to be at!!!

I have three seats in Section 113...not too far from where the picture above is taken. I have been trying for a few years to buy an additional ticket to my right to make sure I have guaranteed spots for my wife, six year old and three year old as they grow up.

I am even willing to buy two more seats to not leave a "single" per Dome policy. However the two seats next to me are never available...yet they are always two different people who got them from Stubhub.

Seems impossible to do other than by having some sort of pin code you have to enter at the gate a minimum number of games per year. However, it would be nice to have the seats in the hands of SU fans as opposed to someone or some group simply reselling them every game.

That said...tonight was awesome.

i gotta say though i loved the nerdy couple smooching it up behind the announcers.
their whole universe was in a dark dense state.
We were debating whether that was brother/sister, husband/wife, mother/son ... or some combination of these.

My last sentence is what it is, my opinion, as was the rest of my post. No judgments were made simply statements. You don't have to apologize just like I don't for my response to yours.

dude was definitely looking over at his coach for the signal to steal second base. she seemed to be pitching from the stretch

I reamed the guy who sits next to me at the Pitt game for selling his tickets to a unc fan. Had 2 Duke fans sit next to me yesterday. If he shows up tomorrow I might get thrown out. He even admitted to me he only gets season tickets to make money. Complete dirtbag in my book.

You might want to re-consider this after you see how tightly controlled Cameron Indoor is. You can't squeeze a mouse into that garage unless it's got a Duke tee shirt. Georgetown ... same way. When they started the gray-out 2 years ago, they actually did "confront" SU fans in the arena to find out how they got in (stub hub traitors and alumni packages).

I don't blame anyone for selling their tickets if they can't attend a game. But taking money from a Dukie is selling out your team. All the people you sit next to have to listen to some blowhard screaming, "yay duke". You might as well spit in their faces, and flip off JB (and the rest of us) while you're at it.

We aren't judgemental are we? If somebody got in my face over what I did with my tickets, there might be a problem. Discussing it with the person is one thing, but reaming somebody is just silly. In the big picture of life, does it really make a difference? I have sat in season ticket holders seats at Pitt and At a Villanova game. I am very appreciative that I was able to purchase these. If we played by the rules of some on this board, it would have been possible.

Yes I am judgemental!!! I hate seeing opposing fans in the Dome.

More importantly, it's call "freedom". The supply of that seems to be getting shorter and shorter lately.

What's it got to do with freedom? Nice try.
