the only glimmer i can find-
mcdonald is a rookie like hackett was when he came to syracuse-play calling was about on par for 1st games

on the other hand he had time to learn on the job because we were rebuilding from the lowest depths ever for the program-

ole mcdonald doesnt have that luxury=he must have a immediate impact running the offense to sustain whats been started by hackett-

if he is a 1 trick pony who can only recruit =hcss cant afford to keep him around

I think they still haven't fully meshed. Miscommunication on throws, Oline missing blocks, bad throws in general, to conservative...

But the good news is that this is the first game...A lot of evaluation to follow, and change.
