Nassib will be our starting QB once again next year as he well should be. Broyld seems to the type of dynamic player we want on the feild though so I highly doubt that we redshirt him. Will he get some spot time at QB running the wildcat? Do we line him up at WR some? Do we line him up next to Nassib as a RB on some plays? I'm hoping for some combination of the 3. Even if it's not at their roster spot, we need to have more guys like this and find ways to get them on the field even before they know the entire playbook.

I guess it's true what they say. Everyone loves the fifth string QB.

I don't love him at QB at this point, I love him as the guy that needs to be on the field on a team that is playmaker deficient.

Most guys we are getting aren't physically ready to play from day one. He appears to be an exception to that.

Are we positive that he definitely is coming here? Like 100%

Born in Jan 1992 and physically mature. I don't see him red-shirting. This year at Milford should have done the trick. Especially if he is able to enroll and play in the spring game.

Play him where? Is he staying at QB? If he's not I can see using him right away, if he is I don't see him playing unless he's sooooooo far ahead of Kinder and Hunt.

id love to be positive and think about all these packages we could use him in, but our offense has been far from diverse or creative, so i'll withhold any thoughts of a package featuring broyld next yr.

Did Broyld play defense in High School/Milford? Usually at smaller schools the best athletes play both sides of the ball, but I haven't seen video or anything of him on D.

The nassib role when paulus was qb.

Anywhere on offense you can. He'll still be learning the playbook regardless and have some PT under his belt so the game won't seem as fast if/when he just step under center. I'm looking at Broyld or Hunt to eventually take over at QB after next season but in the meantime run him in the Stewart/Randel El slash role. Put him wherever you can aside from on the sideline.

Call me crazy but I think Hunt will be ahead of Broyld at least next year, I think you will see Kinder move and Hunt and Broyld battle it out for 2013.. The thing about Broyld and Hunt is if they are going to be running more, we will need two qb's for sure

Are we sure that Nassib is actually done next year? He doesn't have any miracle 6th year or something? :bang:

I think we need to see where he is at from a readiness standpoint once he gets here before even attempting to pencil him in somewhere. There's no way to tell until he puts on pads and goes against legit college players. A lot of guys who dominate against HS talent come in and get the deer in the headlights look for the first year. I'm not saying that will be the case with AB, but let's give him some adjustment time.
