He's a great elusive runner (and of course he fumbles as I'm writing this), but he just cant throw the ball on a consistent basis. His decision making has been pretty good when pressured. But again, he just can't consistently throw the ball.

He throws it too hard sometimes. Lots of times today on crossing routes he has just put too much on it (and often behind the wideout).

He is a running back that can throw. He has some nice throws in this game and some What throws. Just not good enough in the ACC,

He's fine. His idiot coordinator kills every drive

He's also the only reason we're even an average team.

At Syracuse were average is good enough that is also why Shaffer is the HC.

I don't think he is good enough when the talent is even. Just can't make the throws on a regular basis. He would rather run that wait for someone to get open. He can make throws one drive then the next drive cant make any.

I will say Hunt played really poor after the 1st Q. In terms of passing, he clearly only wants to throw to Broyld and Estime is his backup.

Hunt also makes so many mental errors. He is a stupid QB. I thought that another year would improve that, but it hasn't at all. The face mask was 1 of the dumbest things I've ever seen.

He is so good when he doesn't have to think. Running, creating, etc...

He also has zero touch on the ball. He can only make 1 throw. The bullet over the middle of the field.

its his 15th games. way too early to say that.

maybe he can actually get a TD pass against his soft D from Maryland

This, Hunts raw, because he's developed a ton since last year, kid has some talent, needs to up the completion percentage a touch, drops hurt, but hopefully this proves they take today and go forward with the passing game.

I wouldn't mind if the gave Lester the head set.

This. The lack of speed/talent doesn't justify keeping a bad OC simply for his recruiting ability.

You mean the guy who completed passes to 12 different receivers last week. That guy?
You say that like it is a good thing. Bubble screens to every tom dick and Harry

I'm just not sure what MacDonald brings at this point. The company line is recruiting, but if we have a ton of high level recruits flip, not qualify, transfer before playing a down, or leave the team suddenly, etc... What's the benefit?

Im talking about actual pass plays. Not bubble screens and tightend outs.

For the most part, before the broyld injury. He locks in on Broyld, either passes or decides he's not open, quick glance to Estime if he's in the game and unless he streaking down the sideline with no safety help, tucks and runs.

Yeah, hard to argue this.

u watched this game and think hunt is the problem. no I say people like u that have no clue are the bigger problem.

I never said he was the problem. I just said he's not a QB.

Hunt is a big problem, but as someone else stated he's also the reason this team is competitive.

Unfortunately for us, both of the statements are correct.
I think that's possible.
