That is ridiculous. He doesn't have to be anywhere near that good. Top 5 and we are ready to goWestry is the best player who ever lived
Very true. When kids don’t hustle back on D and the coach doesn’t even get up and yell at them he’s not cut out for the job. Lack of hustle and effort is on him.
I was under the impression that a reason we made this hire was because chit like that would no longer happen. That guys would play hard for him unlike they did under the old mean guy. When kids don’t hustle back on D and the coach doesn’t even get up and yell at them he’s not cut out for the job. This team has me scared we wont even be a .500 team unless someone averages close to 20 a game. And the only one who has the potential and skillset is Freeman. We have a bunch of pieces that would be 6-7-8 in the rotation on a competent P4 team. Combine that with poor Xs and Os and this is what you get.
What's wrong with being mean. I'd rather have mean than coddled and self entitled. Alot of people think mean is bad today and that's why they can't deal with anything and can handle self criticism to get themselves better to a point of being the best player and person they can be. Toughness builds accountability. The team we have now is soft as Charmin!I was under the impression that a reason we made this hire was because chit like that would no longer happen. Lampkin has started for tournament teams 3 years in a row. He’s not a superstar by any means, but he’s good enough. The coaching certainly stinks. We have a bunch of pieces that would be 6-7-8 in the rotation on a competent P4 team. Combine that with poor Xs and Os and this is what you get.
Where's the talent? Not one of them is talented on defense and their other flaws are wildly apparent, what exactly are we talented at?We have the talent
Our team looks last, uninspired and quite frankly unprepared.
Red seems to really be struggling with X’s and O’s
We have like 6 freshman CJ Fair.We have a bunch of pieces that would be 6-7-8 in the rotation on a competent P4 team. Combine that with poor Xs and Os and this is what you get.
He's expected to be one of our better players and are probably expecting much more than he was at his previous spots. Whether that's fair or not should be the debate.Lampkin has started for tournament teams 3 years in a row. He’s not a superstar by any means, but he’s good enough. The coaching certainly stinks.
My alma mater is coached by Frank Martin and I have come to really love it. Preaching to the choir. What's wrong with being mean. I'd rather have mean than coddled and self entitled. There were a few times where I thought he really should have been subbed out and given oxygen. He's expected to be one of our better players and are probably expecting much more than he was at his previous spots. Whether that's fair or not should be the debate.
Yeah he's fine, but he's out of shape and probably a 25 min guy at best. Probably spendt over 30% of our NIL budget on him too.
He’s still adjusting to lower altitudes. There were a few times where I thought he really should have been subbed out and given oxygen.
DC was mean to all the players he played against. He wanted to win, not make friends. My alma mater is coached by Frank Martin and I have come to really love it. Preaching to the choir.
This is very obvious so far, to me.We have the talent

To my knowledge it was an individual who stepped in to cover Eddie’s “cost”. Whether that impacted our “budget”, I have no clue. But bridging the gap didn’t come from what was our budget at the time. He's expected to be one of our better players and are probably expecting much more than he was at his previous spots. Whether that's fair or not should be the debate.

It is a problem. And the post-game comments also do not make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. When kids don’t hustle back on D and the coach doesn’t even get up and yell at them he’s not cut out for the job. Lack of hustle and effort is on him.
