True, but you could point to the face mask by Franklin, poor play of Wingham, etc. just as much. Players need to step up a bit more in those situations.

I like Shafer too, he's a realllllyyyyyy good guy BUT the excuses need to end and being a good guy unfortunately just doesn't cut it for this job. You have to win and make good coaching decisions, neither of which he has done.

I think Winfield, Dowels and Hudson are all serviceable. Haven't seen enough of Morgan to comment on him. But Whigham (obviously) and our FS play is as bad as I've seen from SU. Souple that with a nonexistent pass rush, and no containment...we have deep deep issues.

Definitely. That should not have been a TD. We should have been punting there. It was even more obvious than last weeks which they ruled as incomplete. Smh

Plus I think Strickland got in earlier in the game. Of course there was no clean replay.

It's not just dbs who can cover but none of them can tackle either especially the safeties which is just killing us.

I just don't get how Bullough just doesn't say screw it. Wigham is benched and we are going with the younger kids. Wigham's has had almost 4 years and hasn't gotten better. Time to move on with the next person they cannot be as bad as he is.

Agreed we are very young not very strong and teams are taking advantage. When you have one in the secondary who is weak you can mask it but when you are weak at a minimum of two spots it is really hard. Not sure what they can do other than to hope they can bring in some game ready kids and that these guys get stronger and better next year.
