It does seem odd to not have heard from the AD in this situation.

I am absolutely stunned he has not made one comment. I know he is probably on gag order but I would have bet the farm he would have said something.

He'll come out of hiding when there's something positive happening.

I'll let others here pick a good moment.

It should be entertaining.

Be Extraordinary.

I don't see him as a "player" in this situation, He's the AD, Nancy and Jim and the BOT are.

He's either being insulated or isolated. I'm guessing isolated (ie keep your mouth shut).

Has anyone seen him at any of the games? Shoulda been looking for him

He's a smart guy. I'm guessing he's just going with the what a lawyer would advise route.

Gross wouldn't want to ruin his BRAND by showing his face during these allegations. He won't be able to buy NYC in a couple years like he has been planning for some time now. As soon as we win the National championship this year he will somehow show his face and claim that he somehow was responsible.

It is not "odd" at all. It is totally appropriate for him not to comment. This is being handled at the Chancellor's level. There is notthing that the AD can contribute to the discussion. Having him comment serves no purpose and could only add fuel to the controversy. The last thing that the University needs is for assorted "representatives" speaking on a subject that they have no personal knowlege about.

Gross has been redshirted til the scandal is over.

Gross wasn't at SU during the time the university conducted its own investigation back in'05. His silence shouldn't be a suprise to anyone...he's a subordinate and at a lower pay grade than the players making the decisions...
