JB will retire when he can't win anymore.
-his own words recently.

We can all rest assured now that this will not be correct...just kidding kc!I think that Jim will coach one more year
Agreed.he will coach as long as he is allowed. By either the University or God. What else is he going to do?
JB made it clear to the AD department. That's interesting. We can all rest assured now that this will not be correct...just kidding kc!
JB will retire whenever JB thinks it's time. My understanding is that he has made this clear to the AD department - there is no definitive timeline. This has been the case for some time now.
Even though JB publically defined that as "until I can longer win" recently, this has been the understanding since the Coach in Waiting retirement plan was "modified."
JB stepping down mid season is an interesting take but I only see that happening if their record is extremely poor. The coming season so far appears as if we are pretty talentedIts hard to see JB here for very long after Buddy.
I think Buddy stays 2 more unless he has an amazing year and is a lock to go 1st round.
I also can see JB stepping down in the middle of a season to give one of the assistants the job and prevent an external search.
Regardless...JB is the only P5 coach who has 2 of his own kids on his team and contributing. For that reason alone people should chill the out on the retirement talk for the next couple years and stop asking him about it non stop.
You don’t check NunesMagician every morning???just another great SU fan.

I thought Buddy was going to be here for two more years as well. But he won't be. And the reason would surprise you but it is very doubtful he will return for a 5th year. Its hard to see JB here for very long after Buddy.

Wow I figured he would want to play on GMac’s first teamI thought Buddy was going to be here for two more years as well. But he won't be. And the reason would surprise you but it is very doubtful he will return for a 5th year.
Well, not exactly. But who wouldn't want to play for the Hall if given the chance?yea I too heard he was going to go in the transfer portal after next season.

The only way Jim can’t win is if he has passed away...he isn’t going anywhere as long as his health remains in tact. He will get another national title and the all times win title...book it
Don't get caught watching the paint dry!
Now that's funny !Maybe JB departs to take over Seton Hall.
Just to mess with Kadary and tell him he can't shoot 3's againMaybe JB departs to take over Seton Hall.
I hope he goes out with his kids. Would be a perfect endingWe can all rest assured now that this will not be correct...just kidding kc!
