But Cooney needs to play less minutes. A lot less. He really is a hindrance. He takes bad shots (makes some, but takes bad ones), tries to go one-on-one way too much and when he gets into the lane he freaks out and can't make a play.

For someone that is a 5th year senior and has been starting at a major program for the majority of it, he just isn't very good. I'm ready for any other option that's there - even Joseph at this point.

Agree. Give Howard or Joseph his minutes and see if they develop. Cooney isn't good, he's a below average player who sometimes gets hot.

I most faith last year. Now I'm just waiting for senior day for him. It's crazy how it's almost a sin to take minutes away from him for some reason.

I try not to get frustrated at him anymore. He way too many minutes. I just don't get it. He is easy to defend plain and simple. It isn't his fault he plays as much as he does but it is frustrating sometimes.

It is not Cooney's fault we can't rebound but he takes way too many bad shots and hurts us with his shot selection.

This is his last year just hope we can make the tourney this year that is enough.

I get him getting his minutes but not high 30mpg per game.
