I wonder as I’ve asked a few times what’s the upside of this job for another year vs hitching w lane at LSU and being a 1mm per year asst coach where he can cook as a recruiter

Disagree with your assessment that it’s always on the coach. I’m not saying Fran did or did not give up but a season like this can certainly lead to kids giving up. I don’t get the sense that FB gives up

As both a SU and Carolina grad, it hurts that you are spot on. The Bills fan/season ticket holder in me thought the "Chapel Bill" experience, with a side dish of "Jor-Don", would not go well. I hate being right and continue to root for the laundry. Still, I think from a coaching standpoint, I like the Orange's upside more than the Heels' upside.

Woad my brother, we both love Carolina, but don't let our Carolina-Blue colored glasses miss what an absolute disaster this year has been for the Heels. If you don't agree, I can give you 10 million reasons why things have gone bad. I hope he gets an NFL job though I doubt it. GO ORANGE! GO HEELS!

I hear you but his game plans last year worked so he does have the capability.
Why he didn't implement some of last years plays this year is head scratching. They weren't anything special. Where were the quick over the middle short passes that I remember, or the quick screens to the running back just to name a few? Where were the short passes to the tight ends? I understand the athletes were different but we still have good hands receivers and what better plays for the young untested quarterback is the short quick pass? These type of plays when connecting do wonders for qb's confidence.
Honestly, it looked and felt like a different OC was calling the plays.

UNC beat Syracuse at home. We win that game and our records reverse. But we lost.
 
If “toosii” is getting any dollar from this school. Fran will need to go because why is a 25 year old multi platinum artist getting money from this school unless it’s 3rd party NIL deals. And he better not be on scholarship. I been on the Fran train the entire year. But if he is giving this kid a scholarship I had enough.

All about publicity and recruiting selling points. Gotta do what you can to keep recruiting positive when you go 3-9 and fire half the staff.

Did anyone hear bill Simmons on his podcast w cousin sal bash wildhack out of nowhere? Mentioned how he botched the Chesney hire and then Todd mcshay said something along the lines of “more to that story”

Sounds like mcshay and Simmons not fans of wildhack from espn at all. Knew Simmons loathed him but assumed it was all ego
