Thanks Jimmy.
Which players that left had the adversity you speak of?No offense, but the bolded is pretty damn patronizing. You're suggesting that many of these players haven't faced adversity or struggle? Look at the background of a lot of these players, they've faced types of adversity that I can hardly fathom.
As someone mentioned above Boeheim gives freedom, but only to some players.
The writer is a SU alum.Who wrote this steaming pile of horseshoe it? What the hell did Joe Girard ever do to him?
Yup. Literally yelled at him for shooting, and kindve started the narrative that he’s not a shooter. Thanks Jimmy.
Agreed, a guy like woody I would be upset but get over it quick, this one on the other hand is inexcusable. Especially when someone like Girard gets a leash like he’s Jonny Flynn.Yup. Literally yelled at him for shooting, and kindve started the narrative that he’s not a shooter.
Kid shot it fine, all year long.
He’s a kid you start, play a lot, give him the ball, and leave him the hell alone. Like a Flynn.
I’m just getting madder and madder throughout the day.
SU should rescind that guy's degree. CuseRunner is a better writer. Those barstool sports guys get paid for writing like that? I could write an article on the situation that’s a lot better than that, and so could half the board. What the hell am I typing all these words here for?
It's cool if Joe chucks it up from the parking lot, though.
If he does he's not getting minutes.I don’t think he’s coming back
Funnily enough he’s a way more unselfish player on the court than Joe, as far as passing the ball.Translation:
I'm not a team player. I want to go someplace where I can get mine.
Please explain your take here a little?Sounds like he wants to go someplace where he can get his.
Can he take Griff with him?
Or he just wants to be able to take a shot without getting yelled at and put on the bench where he watches another kid throw up 30 foot bricks? Who knows.Sounds like he wants to go someplace where he can get his.
Can he take Griff with him?

Sounds like he just wants the freedom to play his game and a coach who believes in him, the way Joe has gotten since day 1.
Why don’t you write up a detailed history of their personal lives, and then you tell me.Which players that left had the adversity you speak of?

Dude, it’s a friggin b-ball team. Drink ya a cold one and chill. Seriously don’t let this ruin youYup. Literally yelled at him for shooting, and kindve started the narrative that he’s not a shooter.

The next time JB talks about Joe’s +/- in a game that is terrible like he did for Kadary this season will be a first.Sounds like he wants to go someplace where he can get his.
Can he take Griff with him?
